We will begin reviewing LLM applications on October 30, 2017 and will continue admitting students on a rolling basis. While we make admission offers until our class is full, maximum consideration will be given to applications received by February 15, 2018.
o We recommend that students apply directly through our Graduate College online application system athttps://choose.illinois.edu/apply/. Details of the application requirements and program features can be found athttps://law.illinois.edu/admissions/graduate-admissions/llm-application/. Application fees have been waived.
o The LLM tuition for 2018-19 is $49,500 but admitted partner nominees will receive a scholarship of $34,500.
o The preferred English proficiency score for this scholarship level is 90 TOEFL or 7.0 IELTS.
o You may nominate four (4) students at this scholarship level. Students not admitted as official partner nominees are eligible for admission consideration at other scholarship levels.
o Please send your nominations as soon as possible, but ideally by January 15, 2018.
- Study Abroad or Exchange students from partner schools may apply to remain at Illinois (or return later) for an additional semester to complete an LLM with a partner-level scholarship. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on whether credits earned during the exchange are being used to complete a degree at the home institution.
- Our 2-week summer course, “The Best of American Case Law” will be held July 23-August 3, 2018. The course is open to undergraduate students at all levels and recent graduates. No English proficiency score is required. Partner students will have priority over limited spaces.
- New this year! We would extend partnership scholarship benefits to our JSD (Doctoral) candidates. Please nominate up to two (2) junior faculty or lecturers.
